I bought some capris at the GAP and didn't have time to try them on b/c I was in a hurry to meet someone. So I brought them home and found they don't fit. Problem is, I live over an hour away from this store and who knows when I'll be able to make a trip there again, with gas prices so high. Can I do a mail exchange or refund?
i would ask them to see if its possible to return and exchange an item through mail. Mailing might only be an option for customers that order online and if you bought something from the store, then you may have to return it through the store. But according to the website, it says that if you want to receive credit for your return or exchange, then you must send it through the mail. If you are returning an item that you had order online and returning it to the store, you must bring the invoice/receipt. There are also items that aren't eligible for returning at the store that you bought online, so it must be sent back to the store

What is the main difference between Mail Server & Exchange Server? Means why there is a need of Exchange server if Mail server can also do the mailing tasks ??
or what other things/components/services do Exchange server provide which Mail server dont.
A mail server (also known as a mail transfer agent or MTA, a mail transport agent, a mail router or an Internet mailer) is an application that receives incoming e-mail from local users (people within the same domain) and remote senders and forwards outgoing e-mail for delivery. A computer dedicated to running such applications is also called a mail server. Microsoft Exchange, qmail, Exim and sendmail are among the more common mail server programs.
The mail server works in conjunction with other programs to make up what is sometimes referred to as a messaging system. A messaging system includes all the applications necessary to keep e-mail moving as it should. When you send an e-mail message, your e-mail program, such as Outlook or Eudora, forwards the message to your mail server, which in turn forwards it either to another mail server or to a holding area on the same server called a message store to be forwarded later. As a rule, the system uses SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) or ESMTP (extended SMTP) for sending e-mail, and either POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) or IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) for receiving e-mail.
Microsoft Exchange Server is a messaging and collaborative software product developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Microsoft Servers line of server products and is widely used by enterprises using Microsoft infrastructure solutions. Exchange's major features consist of electronic mail, calendaring, contacts and tasks, and support for the mobile and web-based access to information, as well as supporting data storage.

I recently bought something online from American Eagle but it was too big so I had to send it back. I was wondering if anybody has returned anything to American Eagle by mail? And how long it took for them to get it back? I got a email saying 1-2 billing cycles to credit my card..but then I called customer service and they said 72 hours. I was wondering if anybody had any experience with sending something back to American Eagle online for an exchange?
It's usually just a few days. They have the standard blurb that all retailers have about one to two cycles to cover them in case of problems.
This is not the most sheltered way and is done by relaxing the certainty on your exchange server. I have run internal relays for many years and never once had an big problem. Not to say you won’t. That being said:
Do this at your own gamble. If your locale is not set up well you are at gamble of evidence waste and creating an unbooked relay. The dot is, make sure you have a ongoing, tested backup of all system and statistics files and recognize how to rejuvenate the system in container something goes very regress. You can still squall at me, but I fake no job for your actions and use of the bumf and disclaim any sound trustworthiness for any consequences of such actions.
Here we go... In mandate to get-up-and-go mail off of a Exchange 2003, you indigence to initiate a relay The key custodianship egress is resolved by changing smtp_sasl_auth_allow = from "yes" to "no"
From this hint on I was superior to relay mail from my trixbox off my exchange 2003 server
Hope this helps.
I am posting this because I quality it would have saved me countless hours had it been elbow to me during the placement and setup. If the webmaster feels this is in the undesirable location and or not associated fancy direct to erase it, I won't be offended.
