Looking for a foreign exchange program to Japan, that has no requirements and is not really expensive?
I been looking for a foreign exchange program to Japan without a language requirement and is not really expensive. Is there any programs like that? If there is please tell me and have a link, if you can.
You should look into both YFU and Rotary. Rotary is the cheapest, but most competitive. However, YFU has some nice scholarships. YFU does not have a language requirement for Japan. I don't believe Rotary does, but not positive.

You could also check with AFS and Aspect. Whichever you try, make sure it is CSIET listed and check with your school counselor for a recommendation as well.

How do you find out if a foreign exchange program is decent?
I am looking at going to Germany with a foreign exchange program over the summer. Is there a list of approve programs? Are the programs not on this list "bad"?
AFS is a well known, well organized, quality program. I know of several students who went to Japan on the year long exchange and had good support. It is pricey though. Check with your local Rotary as well - they have great exchange programs.
How do you learn about the Foreign Exchange program?

I was wondering. How old should you be to apply in a foreign exchange program for high school in the United States? I have been very curious as to why some information on the web say that the eligible are those 15-18 years of age and also thos who have not finished at least 11 years of school (excluding kindergarten). I want to apply for a program and my aunt has been telling me to go for it. She sayas i could live with them until the program expires but I'm not really sure how I can go for it.
