She is from Germany and I believe she's a senior. I don't want the boring favorite this and that or what's different from America and Germany...something unique.
Ask her why she came in the first place. Ask her if she has modified her reasons since she came.
Ask her how she is going to use her experiences and what she has learned in the USA.
Ask her what she is going to tell people when she gets back home.
Ask her what advice she would give someone coming to the USA.
Ask her who are the most important Americans to German people her age.
Ask her who are the most important Germans to German people her age.
Ask her about her hometown in Germany.
Ask her what questions she has asked people in the USA.
Ask her which of the answers to her questions surprised her.
Ask her what she has changed her mind about since coming to the USA.
Ask her what else you haven't asked her that you should ask. (This last question is my absolute favorite question.)
Most importantly, listen very carefully to her answers, and keep quiet for three seconds in case she is thinking, trying to put words together in English, or deciding whether she should trust you with the truth. Ask your question clearly, and don't "explain" it unless she asks you to. Many people, talking to someone from another country, talk too much or repeat / rephrase too much while the person is trying to think.

We were assigned to analyze a news article and mine is about the Philippine government's measures vs. inflation and selling its remaining Petron shares is one of their measures. It was said that this will help increase Foreign Exchange Reserves. Now, I'm wondering how this can help reducing the effects of inflation.
A central's bank sale of domestic currency to buy foreign assets in the foreign exchange market results in an increase of the monetary base.
The increase in the money supply will lead to a higher real money supply in the short run which will cause the interest rate on domestic currency assets to fall shifting the demand curve to the left.
When the demand curve shifts to the left prices go down to reach a new lower equilibrium level.

If my wife make that much money, I want to retired young! How about you?
Haha, she should have kept her money in an offshore numbered account right after getting the profits instead of blowing it on something within her country where it can be traced:-D.
If this was my husband we would both invest in prime real estate, get a slightly bigger house (yes I don't want such a huge one because so much housework is tiresome), invest some in low risk shares in both local and foreign markets - and, possibly retire early but before that go for an MBA without having to work part time. Rich oledi mar, no need stress study and work same time.
