Post Office Foreign Exchange research reveals UK holidaymakers' passion for ...

Current foreign exchange rates have made the pound worth 21 per cent more now than in March, and UK tourists have benefited from lower prices when spending their travel money abroad in shops and restaurants hit by the credit crunch.

Sterling's recovery since earlier this year and the improved foreign exchange rate means that a trip to the US is still good value. Cost also remains the big issue for people planning holidays.
