Having invested in stocks for quite sometime, I am thinking to get into the commodity trading world. As a beginner in futures and options on futures, I would like to seek advice on the names of brokerage firms for such investment. I wonder what are the most popular online commodity brokerage firms (like TDAmeritrade for stocks) for setting up “self-directed” accounts with reasonable commissions, fees and requirements for opening accounts. 1.What is mean , some online brokerage account saying that i can trade stocks, options and futures on offshore?What is that mean?Please explain to me clearly and detailed way.Please dont explain in single word.
What are the advantages and disadvnatages?

2.Guys, also please give me suggestions if you know any online brokerage that enables to trade stocks and derivatives from not only in US exchnages but around the globe( australia, japan, china and europe)

Hello everybody,

Can you guys please suggest me some online brokerage names based on my requirements:

#1: Brokerage should allow to trade stocks,options, futures and forex.

#2:Brokerage should be able to allow me to trade all the above listed things in Worldwide Important Exchanges (NOT only american stock or equity or futures exchange).They should be international.

#3: I would like to trade more times a day i.e, entering and exiting the different trade multiple times in a single day.So, Commision for trade should be reasonable or inexpensive.e.g: I do not want to pay 10 dollars for the single trade as a comission if i planned to exit the trade immediately because if i thought i made wrong decision.You understand what i am saying?

#4:Some kind of reliability.(Customer service, Trading platform etc...)

#5:Broker who satisfies you ,:"YOU" means whoever answering my question.

#6:Advice or suggestions.

OptionsExpress is pretty good, you may also want to try Trade King, they are always adding new services and they are easy to work with.

I am looking to get into the futures trading market with limited start-off capitol ($2000-$3000). Does anyone know of a reputable online brokerage that is willing to deal in smaller trades?

That is a pretty bare-bones way to start. Why don't you stick to stocks a little longer. There is a difference between flying kites and jet planes and if 2 or 3k is all you have to work with then leveraging that will be pretty dangerous.
