I mean when do I buy or sell future contract .For example if I am in US and interest rate here goes down, do i buy or sell euro future contract?
Also what is hedging?
where do i find material for refence on these?

When the US interest rate goes down the currency should normally go down and vice versa but if the USA economy is slowing down towards recession then a reduction in interest rates can raise the value of the dollar in anticipation of an improvement in the economy.

Can we consider Nearest future contract month price as a spot price or cash price???

or, NO?????

I am asking this because, to check whether the futures market for particular commodity is perfect (Carrying charge market) or Inverted market (Backwardation)???

So, Can i consider the neaeret month as a reference for finding out the market position (whether it is normal or inverted)?

the nearest future contract price CANNOT be considered a spot price. spot price is the price of the commodity at the current time.

you would normally check for backwardation by comparing futures contracts of different expiration months.

Each of these requires someone to write the program and when it is to be fixed or improved someone to modify. The need for programmers is vast. That's the good news, the bad news, is that this is a technology in it's infancy, it is rapidly changing, so what might be a valuable skill today could be obsolete tomorrow and in the capitalist system and the global market, there can be huge ups and downs for anyone working in this field. Maybe you can picture this better if you are familiar with the recent history of engineers employed in the defense industry. Careers for engineers here can be up and down, when our government decides to spend lots of money on defense, the industry cranks up, there is full employment of engineers and very high salaries. When the downturn comes, there are massive layoffs and huge lifestyle changes, turmoil and disruption for those effected. It is a serious problem and one you must be aware of.
So, if you are a software developer, with current in demand developments skills you should be able to get a good job that pays well but you can anticipate having ups and downs and having to continually be speculating where development is heading and constantly (5-10 year cycles) upgrading your skills to keep yourself in the mainstream of what might be in demand. This is easiest to do if you have a passion for the job. If you do have a passion for programming then I can recommend it as it will help you in the hard times.

reserve clause is a term formerly employed in North American professional sports contracts. The reserve clause, contained in all standard player contracts, stated that, upon the contract's expiration the rights to the player were to be retained by the team to which he had been signed. Practically, this meant that although both the player's obligation to play for the team as well as the team's obligation to pay the player were terminated, the player was not free to enter into another contract with another team. The player was bound to either a) negotiate a new contract to play another year for the same team or b) ask to be released.

Our company has made a new contract and added some things our previous one did not have. One thing is that we agree to any future changes and or additions. Is this legal? We were pretty much told we needed to sign it or we would be out of work.
