how to select the scrips (stocks and futures ) suitable for day trading?

ok i do stock/futures trading on line . normally i select the scrips as suggested in media say news papers , TV and like that.when there are thousands of scrips only a few are suggested for trading/day trading.it will be help full to me if i know on what basis suitable scrips are selected for trading particularly day trading so that i myself can select the scrips for trading. more over i can make sure that what is suggested by news papers and TV are worth for trading

Any min requirement for day-trading futures?

Hi,

I would like to day-trade stock and according to FINRA, there's a minimum cash requirement of $25,000 before a person is eligible to day-trade.

Is there a similar requirement for day-trading futures like the Emini S&P 500?

If you're going to day trade stock there is a FINRA minimum requirement of $25,000

Becareful, if you read the rule, you must ,MAINTAIN a minimum of $25,000 - big difference.

watch CNBC in the morning of 24th. If Dow jones,Nasdaq , Nikkei and HangSeng indexes are positive , then definitely a good day.

Why is the Last Trading Day to trade futures contracts as much as a month before the contract expires?



Is it? i've never seen them being being more than a week. Even then the usual is one day. An educated guess would be that the items would take a long time to deliver

Futures As Predictors of Commodity Prices -- MrSwing

This MS examines the relationship between mess eruptions and futures prices for commodities, including those for animation (original oil, gasoline, heating oil markets and unstudied gas), loved and ground metals (gold, polished, aluminum, copper, leash, nickel and tin), and agricultural commodities (corn, soybean and wheat). In item, we grill whether futures prices are (1) an unbiased and/or (2) meticulous predictor of aftermath of comedones prices. We find that while liveliness futures prices are broadly unbiased predictors of future bit prices, there are sure prominent exceptions.
