Future American muscle vs Asian cars?

How has the overall trend been? American muscle like the Camaro, Challenger, Mustang... pited against the Supra, Lancer Evo, Sti... sorry, i'm still learning all about cars.

I'm looking to buy a new car though, somewhere in '10 or '11. I currently own Hyundai Tuscani, looking to probably trade it in.. my top choices for the future are either the new Challenger or the new Supra.. (hopefully the FT-HS will not bear the Supra name)..

So between those two cars, which one would be the one owning the streets? And how is the overall trend of American muscle vs Asian cars?

Asian cars, namely Japanese, are well engineered, well built and very fast. New American muscle cars are -- suprise! -- exactly like the Japanese cars only bigger and faster. This wasn't always true. The demise of the domestic automobile industry came in the seventies when the big three was building crap cars that were too heavy, ugly, couldn't turn, couldn't stop, drank gas and fell apart daily. Then along came Honda, Datsun (Nissan) and Toyota. Suddenly Detroit realized that Americans were no longer going to 'buy American' unless they got their act together -- and soon. It's taken about twenty years but the build quality has finally reached a very good level, dependability is A+ and they are all VERY fast. Now that the muscle cars are making a comeback Detroit isn't going to make the same mistake twice. Americans want sexy, rear wheel drive cars with BIG V8 engines and the domestics are posied to deliver, Asia is not. Forget drifting, forget 'tuner cars' and forget giant paste-on wings and coffee can exhaust pipes. Compared to a muscle car they all look like toys. Japan had a really good run but it may be time for Americans to rule the streets again very, very soon...

What is my chance to lure in a prey on oil future trading ?

I bought millions and millions of barrels of oil when they cost $60--$100 a barrel. I expect to make a kill when I sell. But right now it’s only over $140 a barrel. So here is my difficulty :

I have requested my agents spin the media, like: “Oil future looks high, expecting to be in the range of $200 a barrel soon” But it does not work price up fast enough.

I have paid the mainstream media, the Think Tanks, and the major PR talking heads, to spin China and India (supply and demand) responsible for price hike, to deflect American public anger. But that does not go far enough.

Right now, I am extremely nervous and worried. I urgently need a prey to buy those “paper barrels” on my hording. So I can profit. But where can I find my prey ?
ADD:
Airline industry has requested and demanded Congress stop oil speculation. I have my lobby on Capitol Hill work the Senators and Congressmen around the clock. But I do not how long they can hold.

What influential 19C African-American scholar professed that blacks need to accept their 2nd-class citizenship

Fredrick Douglass
Jim Crow
Malcolm X
Booker T. Washington

In 1916, Woodrow Wilson was elected President on the promise that he would:

Make the world safe for democracy
Create a league of national alliance that would prevent future wars
Secure American trade with England
Keep the United States out of the First World War

Booker T Washington believed that the best interests of black people in the post-Reconstruction era could be realized through education in the crafts and industrial skills and the cultivation of the virtues of patience, enterprise, and thrift. He urged his fellow blacks, most of whom were impoverished and illiterate farm labourers, to temporarily abandon their efforts to win full civil rights and political power and instead to cultivate their industrial and farming skills so as to attain economic security. Blacks would thus accept segregation and discrimination, but their eventual acquisition of wealth and culture would gradually win for them the respect and acceptance of the white community.

What are our elected officials doing about about regulating speculative oil futures trading on the stock mkt.?

While they pontificate, and the economy teeters on the precipice of total collapse, due in large part to rising oil prices ($140 a barrel), our congressmen were preparing to depart for their summer break. By the time they return in August, this nation may very well be beyond the point of recovery — businesses bankrupt, jobs lost, and the number of Americans in food lines increased by tenfold, as the price at the pump climbs steadily higher.

ya well, they knew what was coming but decided to set themselves up to go down as the Richest SOB's ever known to mankind~!!!

they knew corn and ethanol wasn't the answer, but for a while everyone was raking in the profits until it fizzled out, they knew we would should stop making and buying the SUV's and start getting better gas mileage, but they raked in the profits until that fizzled out also, etc...etc...~!!!

now the speculators are locking in on the grain markets, and 70% of our high food prices is because of the cost of Biofuels~!!!

they did not use their advisors or anaylst or Economic Speacialist to help us gradually move into the slower economy and higher gas prices and mortgage crisis~!!!

they knew all this was coming, they just slapped us smack cold in the face with it, it dont hurt them at all~!!!

Greenspan retires, admits it was all for oil, and knew we were all goin to crash and burn~!!!

now he is writing a book about it and we paid his salary~!!!
only in America~!!!
