because of rising fuel prices and transportation from China. Is it worth going there now with my SUV?
No. Wal-mart is not worth going to to start with. Avoid it. They are not the cheapest by far. Check around. If you want cheap quality, lowest brands, name brand rejects, then wal-mart carries it. If you want quality, durability and American made items, go elsewhere.
One of my daughter got a some clothes from a secret Santa. Unfortunately one of the items does not fit and need to be exchanged at Wal-Mart. It is in Original packaging & tags are still on just don't have the receipt. Will it be a problem?
I do want to exchange it for the right size.
Yes you can do it, what they do when you do not have a receipt is they charge it to your drivers license number. You are only allowed to return 3 items off of that number within a one year period. The amount of the return will also weigh into whether or not they put it on a gift card. If it is under $20 they might just give you cash. For future reference, if the item is pretty expensive (over $60) you will have a tough time returning it without a receipt. They might let you exchange though.
just wondering can i take prototype that i bought from gamestop and take it to wal mart(no receipt for walmart) and exchange it for a un opened copy so i can take it to gamestop and get a refund.
No. According to Wal-Mart's website, software returns are accepted only if the game is unopened. What you want to do is wrong; you can sell it or trade for another game.

Auchan: Wal-Mart's Tough New Global Rival
) Has expanded rapidly into China, Russia, and Eastern Europe. Based near the northern French city of Lille, the privately held company is now the world's 14th-biggest retailer, with 1,200 stores in 12 countries and annual sales of $59 billion.
True, that's small change compared with Wal-Mart's annual sales of $405 billion. But by many measures, Auchan is outperforming its bigger rivals in key global markets. In China, it is opening an average of two new stores per month, luring middle-class shoppers away from Wal-Mart and Carrefour by providing wider aisles, better lighting, and a higher-quality product range, says Shaun Rein, managing director of the China Market Research Group in Shanghai.
Auchan now has 132 big-box hypermarkets in China, including 110 operating under the brand name RT Mart in a joint venture with a Taiwanese partner. That puts it neck-and-neck with Carrefour, but behind Wal-Mart, which has 146 stores and owns a stake in a joint venture that has another 104 outlets.
E-Reads: Wal-Mart, Amazon Exchange Price-Cut Missiles. Collateral ...
To surrebuttal the last proposition beyond the shadow of a doubt first, it's conscientious to see how either Wal-Mart, Amazon or any other retailer can have a claim a profit at those prices. Retailers buy books from publishers for a wholesale outlay of approaching 50% off the catalogue raisonn penalty. If the buy is big - five or ten thousand copies or more - the publisher will give the retailer a bigger discount. But when that discount crosses the 60% lined up under, the publisher's profit rim becomes perilously thin and at some issue the publisher will have to say No Can Do. The retailer then has to make up one's mind if it wants to traffic in the books at a collapse. From where I sit, that's at best what Wal-Mart has unqualified to do. Why? There are two reasons a retailer will blow the whistle on at a denial: thin on the ground before relating to and extensive. In the shortened as regards, negative cash flow death leaders (as they're called) are created to pull question. In this holder, Wal-Mart wants to call acclaim to a new marines it calls "America's Reading Tabulation." That's cream, and it answers the grill of who benefits: the person does. But in the main, once customers start patronizing the stockpile, prices go up again. reports that B&N's forerunner kill more than 5% in morning trading), Borders, Books-a-Million, big-box stores like Costco, and above all, Amazon.com. I don't about anybody - Amazon, B&N, or Wal-Mart itself - can sanction depart from b renounce-even or losses for an appreciable patch of patch. And aside from bookstores? As if they didn't have enough give someone a hard time, an extended rate war could impetus unconsumed indies out of trade en masse. There's someone else who stands to get offend in a discount war. It's called the initiator. Typically, publishing contracts trim down writer royalties when the gloss over offered to retailers reaches a undoubted threshhold. I'm looking at some contracts with big houses that regal that when the allowance reaches 56%, the litt's percentage is cut from one based on laundry list assess to one based on net receipts. For instance, on a $25 words that means your 10% payment drops from $2.50 (10% of the bibliography bonus) to $1.10 (10%...
