how can one start trading in foreign exchange?
Maybe this example will answer it best.
I am Canadian; the Canadian dollar was weak compared to the US dollar for a quite a while till recently it started getting stonger; When I saw that the Can Dollar reached a point where it was worth $1.10 US, I bought 10,000 Can dollars worth of US dollars i.e. I got US$11,000.
I did this because I knew that the Canadian dollar would eventually drop in value against the US dollar given that the US has sounder ecconomics than Canada.
And guess what; within a week, the Can Dollar dropped and was on par with US dollar.
At that time I sold my US$11,000 and got back Can $11,000. So I made a neat profit of $1000 in one week.
This is an example of foreign exchange trades.
To start with you have to identify the currencies you want to trade in and open bank accounts for all those currencies. The rest is simply a matter of using those account to transact; You could simply transfer funds between these accounts and make a profit if you transfer at teh right time.

I can see how shares and bonds help to raise investment money the market in foreign exchange seems to leave whole economies open to plunder so surely there must be a benefit?
