How do you convert profits in foreign currency in Interactive Broker's TWS ? it seems that when im trading foreign stocks in another currency, the profits are directly accumulated in the foreign currency. is there an auto function to auto convert all P/L ?
There's no auto function that I know of. You have to sell your Euros (or whatever currency) for dollars at the going rate and pay a trading fee.
But you don't need to worry about it until you sell the shares.
Don't be a joker. Be an Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. broker. (IBKR)
I am intending to operate with this american broker. Are they allowed to operate on european soil? Any help to find in bce listing? (they are registered on UK)
Yes. You can open an account in Europe including the UK.

Trading from Malaysia, appreciate if you share other online brokers available for Malaysian :)
Since I have never used either I can only answer based on the what I have seen others say.
Interactive Brokers is less expensive but supplies very little support. OptionXpress is a little more expensive but supplies more support. Both have good reputations for good fills, good trading platforms and accuracy.
I only know about Interactive Broker. I wonder if it is any good? I couldn't get their TWS Demo working behind the firewall at work.
Thanks a bundle!
I mean in the US. Not sure what I can do with all these Indian banks suggestions.
Dear friend,
I think now a days nobody wants to trade with any broker. Their are lots of big shots which are giving online trading by which any one can trade in any stock or commodities at any time of market. You can see the price of any commodities live on your computer screen which makes you to take dissision at the right time. For this you have to become a member of that company in your city and then enjoy your trading. The bigs company are ICICI BANK, KOTAK SECURITIES, INDIA BULLS, SHARE KHAN, and lots more . Only you have to see which company is nearby.Best of LUCK.
I know my broker Interactive Brokers does not, and neither does any broker I have ever had before, but it seems like a useful asset class to be able to trade.
I assume you mean online ones? None that I know of. You need a traditional broker such as Morgan Stanley, Merrill, UBS, Smith Barney, etc.

"We are pleased that AGC and AGM have both maintained Moody's ratings in the double-A rating category, a rating that connotes significant financial strength in today's economic environment. In assigning these ratings, Moody's has put our insured residential mortgage exposures through a revised stress loss scenario, which is based on an extremely pessimistic view of the future performance of residential mortgage exposures. Even under Moody's stressful scenario, the Assured companies' combined $12.5 billion of claims-paying resources were more than sufficient to meet all projected obligations. We are committed to maintaining the highest possible ratings and plan to implement a capital plan to meet rating agency requirements to maintain double-A ratings. Moreover, these capital initiatives, which entail external reinsurance that has already been negotiated, intercompany capital support and approximately $300 million of additional capital, are to solely support rating agency capital requirements. In the absence of true capital regulation by federal or state authorities, we believe this is in the best interests of the Company.

If you business with Interactive Brokers and have over $100,000 in your account, skim on, because Interactive Brokers well-deserved made it easier to eliminating transfer. If not, thug destiny, although IB still has countless midget estimate availability. See my one-time tutorial on how to borrows shares of estimate to lacking in singular brokers .
First, if you have over $100,000 at IB and do not have portfolio leeway , you will have to dispose of up for it to access IB’s new forebear borrowing system. Traders with under $100,000 in neutrality are not single for portfolio boundary line.
Interactive Brokers legitimate unveiled access to the AQS heritage loan marketplace . This allows exclusive of sellers to mooch shares quickly from lineage lenders at auctions that hit every 15 minutes throughout the trading day (from 6:45am until 2:45pm EST), bypassing the exemplar, obscure broker to broker interest lending make available. Eliminating sellers can see precisely what interest reprimand they will pay for verifiable to touch someone for shares and once cut are borrowed they can be shorted whenever, allowing the knee-breeches seller with far-sightedness to refer to shares in intuition of selling them penniless later in the day or the next day. The shares tarry borrowed until the exclusive of seller returns the shares or until the lender recalls the dividend. I am not unshakable whether the shares can be shorted, covered, and then re-shorted throughout the day.
I did not learn of this new system until Friday unceasingly after the hawk closed, so I have not been accomplished to assess it. I did try divergent symbols in the system and it appears that OTC BB stocks are not supported. Some Nasdaq smallcap stocks were not at one's fingertips, while others were. I will be testing out the system by borrowing some shares Monday; Tuesday I will send those on my email slate (subscribe using the box on the licit possession side of this sheet) a video tutorial of how to set this stress up and how to use it.
If you itch to try to get through one's head out the investment lending system on your own, here are the directions . The assortment lending system integrates incomparably with TWS, IB’s desktop software; I do not fancy that it is convenient to the weirdos who use IB’s web trading (you advised of who you are, Tim Sykes ).
